Armed Robbery in Henry County

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- On July 6, 2009, at approximately 4:40 A.M., the Kentucky State Police-Post 5, Campbellsburg received a call reporting an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Cowboys/BP food mart located off exit 28 on I-71 at 35 Pendleton Road in Henry County. Upon initial investigation, it was learned that 2 black males had entered the store and brandished what appeared to be a black handgun and another handgun that was silver in color and demanded money from the store clerk. Witnesses also reported a third black male remained outside in a vehicle, which was described as a 1990's model Oldsmobile or Buick that was dark in color. The vehicle left in an unknown direction of travel.

The Kentucky State Police is asking anyone with any information regarding this armed robbery to call Post 5-Campbellsburg at 502-532-6363.
