Fatal House Fire on Hickory Hill Road in Pendleton Kentucky

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- June 21st, 2009, at approximately 2:10 am Kentucky State Police Post 5 Campbellsburg received a call of a structure fire at 190 Hickory Hill Road in Pendleton Kentucky. Upon arrival, units discovered the residence fully engaged. Members of the Lake Jericho Fire Department, Campbellsburg Fire Department, and Pleasureville Fire Department, extinguished the fire and discovered Michael R. Davidson, 35 years old deceased in his bedroom. It is reported that Mr. Davidson was alone in the residence at the time of the fire. The death and fire investigation are on-going at this time and the cause of the fire and the death have yet to be determined. Preliminary investigation indicates no foul play at this time.
