Injury Collision on KY 1600 in Elizabethtonwn, Ky

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On 09/05/2009 at 15:29 Kentucky State Police responded to a call of a two vehicle injury accident in the 2700 block of KY 1600 in Elizabethtonwn. Unit 1 a 1994 Ford Thunderbird operated by a Mary Kenley, age 44 of Battletown, KY was traveling north on KY 1600 when she crossed the center line and collided with Unit 2, a 2005 Dodge van, being operated by James Norris age 27 of Rineyville, KY. The operator of Unit 1 Ms. Kenley was transported by Hardin County EMS to Hardin Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The Operator of Unit 2 Mr. Norris, as well as a 6 week and 3 year old passenger in the vehicle where transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation, Trooper Scott Brown is the investigating officer.
