Fatal Collision on KY210 in Hardin County

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On May 25, 2009 at 08:45 AM Eastern time, the Elizabethtown Post of the Kentucky State Police responded to a report of an injury accident near 1453 Hodgenville Road, Elizabethtown, Ky. U/1, a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by Marshall H. Cox (a 62 year old white male from Elizabethtown, Ky.), was traveling east on Ky210 when for unknown reasons the vehicle ran off of the left shoulder of the roadway striking a tree. Airbag was deployed driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is being investigated by Trooper Brian Mouser.
