Injury Collision on US31W
Date of News Release: 05/05/2009
(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- Susan Fox was occupying a 1999 Ford Ranger and was traveling southbound on US31W near the Nolin Bridge when the driver swerved to hit a deer and dropped off of the roadway . Ms. Cox then overcorrected causing her vehicle to overturn coming to a final rest on the passengers side. Ms. Fox of Sonora, Ky. was extricated by the Jaws of Life and airlifted by LifeNet to University of Louisville hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Accident is being investigated by Trooper Pete Binkley with the Kentucky State Police.
