Edmonson County Drug Arrest

Date of News Release: 11/14/2009

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Units responded to Shady Land Church Road reference suspicion of drug activity. Upon arrival, units made contact with the homeowner. The homeowner agreed to a search of the property. Search revealed multiple items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Christopher W. Helson age 29 & Heather Metzger age 21 were taken into custody without incident. Christopher W. Helson was charged with Knowingly Possess Anhydrous Ammonia W/Intent To Manufacture Meth, Unlawful Possession Of Meth Pre-Cursor, Possession Of Controlled Substance 3rd, Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Original Container, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. Christopher W. Helson was lodged into the Grayson County Detention Center. Heather Metzger was charged with Possession Of Controlled Substance 3rd, Controlled Substance Not In Original Container, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Manufacturing Meth, Knowingly Possess Anhydrous Ammonia W/Intent To Manufacture, & Unlawful Possession Of Meth Pre-Cursor. Heather Metzger was lodged into the Hart County Detention Center.
