Criminal Arrest in Hart County

Date of News Release: 10/31/2009

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Saturday, 10-31-09, the Kentucky State Police responded to a disturbance at 4325 Three Springs Hwy in Hart County. Upon arrival on the scene, it was discovered that a Ethan Asbury had driven his truck into his residence while four occupants were inside. Ethan Asbury then got into a physical altercation with his father. Prior to the arrival of law enforcement, Ethan left the scene armed with a shotgun. Mr. Asbury fled from police across some fields and was apprehended still armed with the gun. Ethan Asbury was charged with four counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree, (on foot), Assault, 4th Degree, (Domestic Violence) Minor Injury, No Operator's License, and Menacing. The investigation is ongoing.
