Hart County Drug Arrest

Date of News Release: 07/06/2009

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Trooper David Hall conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle for driving in a reckless manner on North Dixie Hwy in Bonnieville. Through observation it was determined that the operator (Huber Douglas Smith) was under the influence of a controlled substance. After further investigation, approximately one gram of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. Mr. Smith was apprehended without incident and lodged in the Hart County Jail and charged with DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd and Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree.
