Criminal Arrest in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- While conducting a traffic safety checkpoint, Kentucky State Police Troopers Daniel White and Timmy Jewell observed a truck stop in the middle of the roadway and drive in reverse on the roadway. The truck turned around and drove away in the opposite direction. Troopers followed the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Once stopped, the driver, 20 year old Josh Bryant was arrested for DUI 2nd and driving on suspended license. The passenger, 22 year old Brandon Bailey was arrested for public intoxication. The owner consented to a vehicle search and marijuana and methamphetamine were both located inside the vehicle. Both subjects were charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and several traffic charges. Both were lodged in the Hart County Jail.
