Felony Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County
Date of News Release: 12/16/2009
(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Officers from the Kentucky State Police were conducting an investigation pertaining to illegal drugs. The investigation led them to a residence located on KY 1163 south of Greenville. Ms. Samantha J. May pulled into the residence as the officers were conducting their investigation. She was determined to be under the influence. The investigation revealed that the accused was traveling between Kentucky and Tennessee and obtaining Methadone. The Methadone was then being distributed. Ms. May was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, & DUI 1st Offense and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police.
