One Injured in a Collision Involving a Farm Tractor

(Madisonville, KY) - William Putman, age 44 of White Plains, KY, was operating a 1973 Ford farm tractor southbound on J. P. Hanks Road approaching Old Nortonville-White Plains Road. Kenneth Whitfield, age 45 of White Plains, KY, was operating a 2005 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Old Nortonville-White Plains Road. Mr. Whitfield was attempting to make a left turn onto J. P. Hanks Road. As he was turning, he cut his turn too short and struck the tractor. Mr. Putman was transported by a private vehicle to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Whitfield was not injured. Trooper First Class John Komar investigated the crash.
