An Elkton, Ky Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- While on routine patrol, Trooper Ayres observed a vehicle travelling on KY181 at a high rate of speed. Trooper Ayres initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Sheila M. Miller. During the course of the stop, Trooper Ayres discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and other controlled substances and prescription pills located within Mrs. Miller's possession. Mrs. Miller was arrested on charges of Speeding 21 MPH Over the Speed Limit, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess 1st offense, Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified), Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified), Possession Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified), and Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified). Mrs. Miller was lodged in the Todd County Detention Center.
