News Release

Two Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US 431

Date of News Release: 10/01/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- James Curtis was operating a 1996 Dodge Caravan. Mr. Curtis was attempting to turn out of a driveway onto southbound US 431. Holly Gunn was operating a 2000 Ford Escort northbound on US 431. Mr. Curtis did not see Ms. Gunn and pulled out into her path of travel. The two vehicles collided on the roadway. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway facing north. Ms. Gunn and her passenger, Scotty Landrum, were transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Mr. Curtis was not injured. All subjects involved were wearing seat belts.
