Fatal Collision on KY 181 in Muhlenberg County

Date of News Release: 09/20/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Chad Vincent was operating a 1999 Kia Sportage north on KY 181. Judith Hudson was operating a 2005 Dodge Caravan south on KY 181. For unknown reasons, Mr. Vincent's vehicle crossed over the center line and struck the vehicle operated by Judith Hudson head on. Mr. Vincent and his passengers were transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital where they were treated and released. Judith Hudson and David Hudson were also transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital where Mrs. Hudson later died due to her injuries sustained in the collision. The collision is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
