DUI Injury Collision on US 68 in Christian County

Date of News Release: 09/08/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Richard A. Combs was operating a 1994 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on US 68 when he stated he swerved to avoid striking a deer. His motorcycle exited the roadway and traveled into the median where it came to rest. Mr. Combs was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center where he was admitted due to his injuries. He was wearing a helmet. Mr. Combs was charged with DUI 2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense & No Motorcycle License and cited to court.
