News Release

Injury Collision at the Intersection of US 62 and KY 813

Date of News Release: 07/14/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Courtland Foster was operating a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. Mr. Foster was turning left onto the westbound lane of US 62 from Bob Bruce Drive. After entering the intersection at US 62 and KY 813, Mr. Foster decided to go straight onto Concord Church Road. Terry Littlepage was operating a 1992 Ford Thunderbird westbound on US 62 approaching the intersection of KY 813. Due to Mr. Foster's vehicle sitting in the middle of the intersection, Mr. Littlepage was unable to avoid making contact with Mr. Foster's vehicle. The front bumper of Mr. Littlepage's vehicle struck the right, front fender of Mr. Foster's vehicle. Verda Foster and Patricia Littlepage were transported by Medical Center Ambulance Service to the Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. All subjects involved were wearing seat belts.
