News Release

Injury Collision on US 431 in Muhlenberg County

Date of News Release: 07/11/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Jennifer Beliles was operating a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass. She was stopped on US 431 waiting to make a left turn into a gas station. Steven Carsten was operating a 1998 Chevrolet Impala northbound on US 431. As Mr. Carsten was traveling northbound, he glanced down for a moment. When he looked back, he saw Ms. Beliles stopped. The front of Mr. Carsten's vehicle struck the rear bumper of Ms. Beliles' vehicle. Both Ms. Beliles and Mr. Carsten were transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. All subjects involved were using restraints.
