Hopkins County Felony Drug Arrest

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On May 3, 2009, at approximately 1:43 A.M, Kentucky State Police was notified of an assault in progress between husband and wife in White Plains, KY. Upon Trooper Smith's arrival, he observed Mr. Whitfield running through the yard into his residence. Through investigation, Mr. Whitfield was found to have assaulted his wife and he was in possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Trooper Smith arrested Mr. Whitfield and charged him with Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence Minor Injury, Alcohol Intoxication in public place, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense. He was taken to the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was processed and lodged.
