Injury Collision on US 41 in Hopkins County
Date of News Release: 04/02/2009
(Madisonville, Ky.) - Sara Fleischmann was operating a 2002 Chrysler Sebring. Stephanie Patterson was operating a 2008 Toyota Yaris. Both vehicles were stopped in traffic on US 41 waiting for the vehicle in front of them to make a left turn onto Clarence Woodis Road. Brandon Duke was operating a 1989 Ford F-150 approaching the two stopped vehicles. Mr. Duke was unable to stop in time. Mr. Duke's vehicle rear-ended Mrs. Patterson's vehicle causing her vehicle to rear-end Ms. Fleischmann's vehicle. The three occupants in Mrs. Patterson's vehicle were transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. No other injuries were reported. All subjects were wearing seat belts.
