Injury Crash Involving ATV

Date of News Release: 04/01/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Terry Werne was operating a 2002 Yamaha 660 ATV northbound on Nunn Switch Road. As he topped a hill, a cow was in the roadway. Mr. Werne was unable to avoid it and struck the cow causing the ATV to overturn. Mr. Werne was transported by ambulance to the Crittenden County Hospital. He was later flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN for treatment of head injuries. Mr. Werne was not wearing a helmet.
