Accident with Injuries in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Jimmy English was operating a 2009 Mack Truck eastbound on Cleaton Road. Billy Leggs was operating a 2001 Hyundai southbound on US 431. A semi was also traveling southbound in front of Mr. Leggs. The semi was slowing down, making a right turn on Cleaton Road. Mr. English thought he was clear to cross US 431 to get onto Bevier Road and he entered US 431. Mr. Leggs was overtaking the semi and hit the vehicle that Mr. English was operating. Mr. English refused an ambulance but was taken via private vehicle to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
