Drug Arrest in Todd County

Date of News Release: 03/01/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) - A traffic stop was initiated for driving improperly on the left side of the roadway. A search of the vehicle revealed the presence of controlled substance 2nd degree, marijuana, and an open alcohol container. Further investigation revealed that the controlled substance was stolen along with another controlled substance from a neighbor's residence. David J. McPherson of Kirkmansville, KY was charged with Possession Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense (drug unspecified), Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Original Container 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Theft of Controlled Substance 2nd or > Offense Or Over $300, Theft of Controlled Substance 1st Offense or Less Than $300, Improperly On Left Side of Roadway, Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle, Possession of Alcohol By Mino. Mr. McPherson was lodged into the Todd County Jail.
