Caldwell County Drug Arrest

Date of News Release: 01/22/2009

(Madisonville, KY) - While investigating a theft complaint, Trooper Ben Sawyer and Officer Opaleck went to the residence of Anthony W. Winters. When Mr. Winters answered the door, the officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. During the investigation, marijuana and several articles of drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence. Mr. Winters was arrested without incident and charged with the Possession of Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd or > Offense. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
