Fatal Collision on KY 120 in Webster County

(Madisonville, KY) - Kathy Tosh was operating a 2001 Ford Focus eastbound on KY 120. Wanda Jones was operating a 2005 Ford Five Hundred westbound on KY 120. Jamie Sigler was operating a 1994 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck westbound behind Mrs. Jones. For an unknown reason, Mrs. Tosh's vehicle crossed the center line and traveled into the westbound lane striking Mrs. Jones' vehicle head-on. As a result of the collision, Mrs. Jones' vehicle was forced back and struck Mrs. Sigler's vehicle. Mrs. Tosh was pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster County Coroner's Office. Mrs. Jones was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Mrs. Sigler and her two passengers were not injured. Mrs. Tosh was not wearing a seat belt. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Sigler were wearing seat belts. Both of Mrs. Sigler's passengers were using child restraints. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police.
