Two Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US HWY 641
Date of News Release: 12/22/2009
(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Wells Purdom Jr. was traveling south on US HWY 641 and was attempting a lefthand turn on KY 80 when he pulled his vehicle into the path of Dennis Bebber, who was traveling north on US HWY 641. Mr. Bebber was unable to avoid the collision and struck Mr. Purdom's vehicle on the passenger side. Wells Purdom Jr. and John Purdom were transported by Murray-Calloway County EMS to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital where they are being treated for multiple injuries. Dennis Bebber was not injured during the collision. Trooper Haley was assisted at the scene by the Murray Fire Department and Calloway County Fire and Rescue. The investigation continues by Trooper Haley.
