Felony Arrest in Livingston County

Date of News Release: 11/06/2009

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police along with Livingston County Sheriff Department following up on a drug investigation discovered a moonshine still that was in operation. All items used to manufacture moonshine were present. Upon executing a search warrant on the residence, 13.5 oz of marijuana, scales, money, paraphernalia, and items that were being used to grow marijuana were found in the basement. Several firearms were located inside the residence and seized. Kyle Beverly was charged with: Apparatus for unlawful manufacturing an alcoholic beverage, Trafficking marijuana over 5 pounds firearm enhanced, Possession controlled substance2nd degree 1st offense, Possession controlled substance 3rd degree 1st offense, Prescription drug in improper container 1st offense. The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Trooper Thomas Williams.
