Three Injured in a Two Car Collision in Trigg County

Date of News Release: 10/15/2009

(Hickory, Ky) -- Mr. Andrew Thurston was traveling north on KY 139 and Mr. Jason Brown was traveling west on US HWY 68. Mr. Thurston failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown was unable to avoid the collision and struck Mr. Thurston on the passenger side. Lily Gomez and Lori Thurston (passengers in Mr. Thurston's vehicle) suffered multiple injuries and are both being transported from Trigg County Hospital to Vanderbilt Hospital in Tennessee by Trigg County EMS. Mr. Brown also suffered multiple injuries and was transported to the Trigg County Hospital. Trooper Wright was assisted at the scene by the Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Cadiz Police Department, Trigg County Rescue, and Trigg County EMS. The investigation continues by Trooper Wright.
