Fulton Man Arrested

(Fulton, Ky.) -- A Fulton man is behind bars after being investigated for a suspicious structure fire earlier this spring. On May 21st, a structure fire was reported at an abandoned house on KY 239 north of Casey, Kentucky. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. On July 13th, Kentucky State Police received information that a meth lab explosion might have caused the fire. After further investigation, Trooper Mike Cook arrested Melvin Roach, 25, of Fulton. On July 17th, Roach was charged with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree. Roach was lodged in the Hickman County Jail. Trooper Cook was assisted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and the Fulton Police Department. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Mike Cook with the Kentucky State Police.
