Homicide Anniversaries (Cold Case Investigations)

(Hickory, Ky.) -- July marks the anniversary of two homicides which occurred in the Post One district. July 16th marks the 13 year anniversary of the murder of Bobbi Holman Williams in Marshall County. Mrs. Williams was found murdered in her Marshall County home in 1996. Though no one has been charged for her murder, Kentucky State Police are actively investigating the death of Mrs. Williams.

July 17th marks three years since the homicide of Margaret Anderson in Ledbetter Kentucky. Three years ago, Kentucky State Police responded to Anderson's residence on McCollum Dr. in Ledbetter to find the 61 year-old, mother of four, murdered in her home. Since the homicide investigation began, numerous people have been interviewed and multiple leads have been pursued. Though much has been accomplished in this investigation, detectives are still searching for critical information that could assist in the capture of Margaret Anderson's killer.
