Injury Collision KY 80 in Graves County
Date of News Release: 04/28/2009
(Graves County, Ky) -- Kyle Hatcher was observed traveling east on KY 80 in violation of a traffic offense. Trooper Nall was traveling west on KY 80 and attempted to catch up to Mr. Hatcher to initiate a traffic stop. Mr. Hatcher turned onto Flood Road and as Trooper Nall turned on Flood Road, he noticed Mr. Hatcher had sped up. Trooper Nall observed Mr. Hatcher disregard a stop sign and lose control of his vehicle. Mr. Hatcher left the roadway, struck several trees, and was ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Hatcher was transported to Jackson Purchase and later airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital. Mr. Hatcher's injuries are critical. Trooper Nall was assisted at the scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Department and Mayfield-Graves County Fire and EMS. Numerous charges are pending on Mr. Hatcher. The investigation continues by Trooper Nall.
