Arson Investigation & Arrest in Cadiz, Ky

(Cadiz, Ky) -- On April 28th, 2009 at 0347hrs the Kentucky State Police Post 1 in Mayfield received a call about a suspected arson at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Cadiz. KSP Arson Investigator Frank Gresham responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the fire. It was determined that during the early morning hours of the 28th, someone had started numerous small fires within the restaurant. Upon further investigation evidence led to the arrest of a Cracker Barrel employee, Justin Cook, 19, of Cadiz. He was charged with Arson 2nd Degree. Mr. Cook is lodged in the Christian County Jail. Detective Gresham was assisted at the scene Cadiz Fire Department, Cadiz Police Department, and the State Fire Marshall's Office. The investigation is continuing.
