Eddyville Man Arrested for 3rd Degree Rape

(Eddyville, Ky.) - An Eddyville man was taken into custody last night after Kentucky State Police discovered that he had been having an illegal sexual relationship with a juvenile. Trooper Daniel Jones was dispatched to a home in Lyon County on April 14th, to check the welfare of one of the residents. While speaking with a juvenile in the home, it was discovered that the juvenile had been having a sexual relationship with 22-year-old, Christopher Hastings.

After additional investigation into the complaint, Trooper Jones arrested Mr. Hastings, charging him with Rape 3rd Degree, a felony. Hastings was lodged in the Caldwell County Detention Center. Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Lyon County Department for Community Based Services. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Daniel Jones of the Kentucky State Police.
