DUI Injury Collision on I-24 in Marshall County

Date of News Release: 04/11/2009

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Stacie Aycock was traveling east on Interstate 24 at the 23 mile marker when she drifted off the left side of the roadway into the median. Mrs. Aycock overcorrected and crossed back over the eastbound lanes where her vehicle overturned and came to final rest. Mrs. Aycock was charged with DUI 1st Aggravated, Possession of Open Container in Motor Vehicle, and Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance. Mrs. Aycock was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center after refusing medical treatment. Trooper Fields was assisted at the scene by Calvert City Police Department, Palma-Briensburg Fire Department, and Marshall County EMS. The investigation continues by Trooper Fields.
