Injury Collision on Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County

Date of News Release: 03/06/2009

(Hickory, Ky.) - Randy Newton was southbound on Old Mayfield Road. Greg Shatner and Carole Murrin were northbound on Old Mayfield Road. Mr. Newton's vehicle crossed the center line and made light contact with Ms. Murrin's vehicle, then struck Mr. Shatner's vehicle. Randy Newton was taken to Lourdes and was then transported via helicopter to the University of Louisville. Trooper Haley was assisted at the scene by the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Hendron Fire Department and Mercy EMS.
