One Killed In A Single Vehicle Collision on HWY 81

Date of News Release: 09/24/2009

(Henderson, Ky.) -- On September 24th, Mr. Richard H. Crabtree was traveling southbound on HWY 81 at a high rate of speed. He lost control and veered off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a rest on its top facing north. Mr. Crabtree, the driver, was ejected. 3 other occupants (Christian Crabtree, Holly Donahue & Corey Crabtree) in the vehicle were taken to OMHS to be treated for minor injuries. Mr. Crabtree was pronounced dead at the scene.
