Injury Collision on KY 425

Date of News Release: 09/19/2009

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Kristen Roberts was operating a 1991-1 ton Ford Pickup truck and pulling a long piece of farm equipment called a header wagon. Kristen Roberts was travelling westbound on KY 425 approaching Old Corydon Road. William Roberts III, operating a 2002 Pontiac, was also travelling westbound on KY 425 behind Kristen Roberts. Kristen Roberts was slowing in order to turn onto Old Corydon Road. For unknown reasons, William Roberts III failed to stop and ran into the rear end of the header wagon. William Roberts III was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Methodist Hospital where she was later transferred to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.
