Cold Case Investigation

Date of News Release: 06/25/2009

(Henderson, Ky.) -- In 1989 the body of Marvin Rowe, a local businessman in Ohio County, was discovered in rural Butler County off of Hwy 231 north of Morgantown. Mr. Rowe had obvious wounds indicative of murder. Butler County is in the Bowling Green State Police Post area, therefore they are the investigating agency. Many leads were checked over the years, but no one has ever been charged in Mr. Rowe's death.

In June of this year the Henderson State Police Post received some information in relation to this case, and this was passed on to the investigating officers. We are seeking additional information and are encouraging anyone who may have information to contact the Kentucky State Police in Henderson at 270-826-3312 or the Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green at 270-782-2010.
