Injury Collision on Country Club Drive in Henderson County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Leonard N. Underwood had stopped waiting to turn left onto Country Club Drive (US 60). Adam M. McFarland was waiting on Mr. Underwood to turn. For unknown reasons Robert L. Butler failed to see the traffic ahead of him had stopped and drove into the back end of Mr. McFarland forcing Mr. McFarland's vehicle into the rear of Mr. Underwood's vehicle. Mr. McFarland was transported to Henderson Community Methodist Hospital for a possible head injury. Mr. Butler refused medical treatment at the scene and Mr. Underwood was uninjured. All 3 were wearing their seatbelts. Both airbags deployed on Mr. Butler's vehicle. Baskett Volunteer Fire Department and District 1 Constable assisted on the scene.
