Injury Collision on KY 54 in Ohio County

(Henderson, KY) - Kelly Thomas was traveling Westbound on KY54 in a 2005 silver 4 door Grand Prix. Vehicle hit black ice causing her to lose control of vehicle. The vehicle veered off the right shoulder of roadway and went down a deep ditch. Mr. Thomas' vehicle then came back across both lanes of travel on KY54 when the vehicle went off the left shoulder. Vehicle came to rest approximately 50 feet from roadway in a ravine. Mr. Thomas was not injured, the passenger, Alice Kerr, had minor injuries to her hand. She was transported by Ohio County EMS to Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
