Post 15 Graduates 19 from Citizens Police Academy

(Columbia, Ky.) -- On Thursday, December 10th, 19 people graduated from the first ever Post 15 Citizens Police Academy. The 11 week Academy met once a week for 2 ½ hours. Students learned about KSP history, Drug & Criminal Investigations, Lab and Legal processes, Patrol and Accident Investigations, as well as participating in hands on practical exercises. The class was held at the State Fire Rescue Training Center in Campbellsville. The graduation ceremonies included a pot luck dinner with friends and families of the graduates, graduates receiving certificates of completion and an address from KSP Commissioner, Rodney Brewer.
