Two Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US150
Date of News Release: 11/26/2009
(Washington County, Ky.) -- A two vehicle collision occurred November 25, 2009 at approximately 8:18 p.m. in the limits of Fredericksburg on US150. The collision occurred when a 1998 Dodge, being operated by Margaret Riley, age 61, of Cox's Creek, was attempting to pull into the Westbound lane of US150 from a church parking lot and pulled into the path of a 2002 Toyota, operated by Craig Arnold, age 38, of Springfield, who was traveling East on US150. The Arnold vehicle struck the Riley vehicle in the driver's side.
Both drivers were belted at the time of the collision. Margaret Riley was transported by Air Ambulance to the U of L Hospital. Craig Arnold was transported by Washington County EMS to the Spring View Hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries. Three passengers in the Arnold vehicle, 34 year old Laura Arnold, 1 year old Allie Arnold, and 6 year old Blake Arnold, all of Springfield, were belted and were not injured.
The collision was invested by Trooper Fred Cornett.
