Two Injured in a DUI Collision on US 127
Date of News Release: 11/01/2009
(Clinton County, Ky) -- A collision occurred on 10/31/2009 at 10pm on US 127 3 miles south of Albany. Steven Hughes (not belted), age 42 of Byrdstown Tn, was operating a 2006 Pontiac when he left the roadway, crossed an earth embankment and struck a tree. A passenger Betty Joe Williams (not belted), age 71 of Byrdstown, was flown to UK for treatment of injuries sustained. Mr. Hughes was admitted to Clinton County Hospital. Mr. Hughes was cited for DUI. Trooper Bradley Stotts investigated the collision.
