One Injured in a Single-Vehicle Collision on Danville Highway

(Marion County, Ky) -- A collision occurred at 9:15 pm on Friday October 23, 2009 on Danville Highway, 3 Miles east of Lebanon. Briana Cooper (belted), age 17 of Gravel Switch, was operating a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am when she fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the roadway. Ms. Cooper then overcorrected causing the vehicle to flip and strike a fence. Ms. Cooper was treated and released from Springview Hospital. Trooper John Adams investigated the collision.
