Two Injured in a Single Ambulance Collision on Ky 433
Date of News Release: 10/20/2009
(Washington Co. Ky) -- Collision occurred at 1:16 a.m. 1 mile south of Willisburg on Ky 433. A 2000 Ford F250 Ambulance was traveling southbound when the ambulance struck a cow which was in the roadway. The ambulance was being operated by Donald Milburn, age 45, Springfield, was belted and was transporting a patient, Virginia Lewis, age 71, Mackville, was belted to Springview Hospital. William Hagan, age 50, Lawrenceburg, not belted was in the back of the ambulance with the patient. All three were transported to Springview Hospital in Lebanon. Mr. Milburn and Mr. Hagan were treated and released. Ms. Lewis was admitted to Springview Hospital for a non accident related illness.
