One Injured in a Single Car Collision on KY 55
Date of News Release: 09/30/2009
(Columbia, Ky.) --The Kentucky State Police Post 15 is investigating a collision that occurred 09/30/09 @ 3:20 p.m., 1 mile south of Columbia on KY55. The collision occurred when a 1997 Dodge, operated by Scottie Blair, age 19, of Dunnville, was traveling south on KY55, lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected. This caused the vehicle to start spinning and then flip up on its side before leaving the roadway. Mr. Bair, who was belted, was transported to the Westlake Regional Hospital by personal vehicle, where he was treated and released for his injuries. The investigation continues by Trooper Adam Likins, who was assisted at the scene by the Adair County Fire Department.
