Injury Collision on Ky 152 in Marion County
Date of News Release: 09/20/2009
(Marion County, Ky.) -- A collision occurred at 9:28 p.m. on Ky 152, 2 miles East of Loretto. Jo Lunsford, age 30, of Willisburg, was belted, was operating a 2000 Jeep. Ms. Lunsford was traveling Westbound on Ky 152 when she lost control, left the roadway and overturned. Ms. Lunsford was flown from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Kellee Peters, age 24, of Springfield, was belted and Julia Peters, age 24, of Springfield, was belted, were transported to Springview Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Both were treated and released.
Trooper Brian Coyt is investigating. Sgt Bill Elliotte, Marion County EMS, Marion County Rescue, Marion County Sheriffs Department and Loretto Fire Department assisted Trooper Coyt.
