Homemade Bomb Investigation in Albany, Ky

(Albany, Ky.) -- Post 15 Arson Investigator Alex Wesley is investigating the finding of a homemade bomb, often referred to as a "MacGyver Bomb", at a residence on Wisdom Dock Road in Clinton County. The device, a plastic 2 liter bottle containing hydrochloric acid and aluminum foil, was located in the front yard of the residence near the mailbox inside a watermelon. The investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has any information or contact with such a device, you are cautioned not to approach and should contact the Kentucky State Police immediately at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state).
