Injury Collision on Jones Chapel Road in Adair County
Date of News Release: 09/05/2009
(Adair County, Ky.) -- A collision occurred at 8:25 p.m. approximately 5 miles Southwest of Columbia on Jones Chapel Road. David Curry, age 37, Columbia was operating a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle Westbound on Jones Chapel Road. Mr. Curry stated a dog ran across the roadway in his path, which he struck, causing him to loose control of the motorcycle. Mr. Curry along with a passenger, Willena Curry, age 41, Columbia were transported to Westlake Hospital where they were treated and released. Neigher Cury or his passenger were wearing helmets.
Trooper Clint Walker investigated. Injured were transported by Adair County EMS.
