News Release

Murder/Suicide Investigation in Marion County

Date of News Release: 07/15/2009

(Lebanon, Ky.) -- On 07/15/2009 the Kentucky State Police Troopers and Detectives are currently investigating an apparent Murder/Suicide that occurred at 2245 Danville Hwy in Marion County. Post 15 dispatchers received a call from Lebanon Police Department about a possible shooting at 2:15 EDT. When units arrived at the residence they found the bodies of 30-year-old James R. Brady and 38-year-old Cindy M. Tucker both dead from a possible gun shot wound. A gun was recovered at the scene. The two had been involved in a custody dispute and had been in Marion County District Court earlier today in reference to an Emergency Protective Order. Autopsies are scheduled for tomorrow morning in Louisville, KY. Detective Mike Dubree is investigating.
