Assault Investigation in Russell County

(Russell County, Ky) -- Kentucky State Police are investigating an assault with serious injury that occurred at 58 Jenny LN, Jamestown, KY on April 7, 2009 at approximately 6:50 PM. Hector Jimenez, 26, of Russell Spring was arrested by Detective George Atwood and charged with assault 1st for the stabbing of his wife Lily Pfoff Jimenez. Mrs. Jimenez was air lifted to UK Medical Center for treatment of her injuries and is currently listed in stable condition. Mr. Jimenez was also charged with Assualt 3rd Degree (police officer) by the Russell County Sheriffs Department. Mr. Jimenez was lodged in the Russell County Jail.
